Support for Learning

University Tuition Fees

Financial Assistance

We offer a support system for students who are eager to study but face financial barriers that may limit their opportunities.

Special Admission Scholarship System

The Special Admission Scholarship applies to all selective exams and is a system that recognizes and rewards students who have demonstrated outstanding academic ability. The scholarship does not require repayment.

Non-degree Students and Auditing Students

Non-degree Students

Non-degree students can select and systematically complete any lecture course from the curriculum on topics of their interest, with the exception of those specifically indicated. In addition, Doho University alumni may complete any missing credits in teaching courses and other qualifications. (However, non-degree students are not entitled to take exams to qualify as certified social workers or certified mental health social workers.)

Auditing Students

This system is designed to respond to the individual learning desires of each student, such as wanting to attend a specific class or wishing to delve deeper into a particular aspect of an academic topic. It does not award credits. Therefore, it is intended for those who wish to freely audit courses without needing to earn credits.

Support for Students with Disabilities

Working Toward a More Inclusive and Supportive University

The Support Center for Students with Disabilities provides a space where students facing challenges in their studies or campus life due to a disability can consult with staff to find ways to resolve or reduce those difficulties.

Work Placement Guidance Office

The Work Placement Guidance Office provides support so that students can smoothly undergo work placements required for their qualifications. The Office provides services, such as help with finding placement opportunities, navigating application procedures, and liaising with relevant parties. It also offers guidance on submitting necessary documents, such as work placement plans and records, and provides a space for students to discuss concerns or ask questions related to their placement.

International Cultural Exchange Program

Foreign Culture Course

In addition to being a common subject in the Faculty of Letters and the Faculty of Social Welfare, this course is also open to students enrolled in Doho University’s Graduate School Department of Literary Research, Graduate School Department of Human Welfare, and the Special Course.

Academic Advising

Each student is assigned an academic advisor, who they are welcome to consult about any concerns they may have.
